What is die height?
Die Height is the distance from the top to the bottom of the slide when the adjustment of the slide is set to the limit at the bottom dead center.
What is shut height?
Shut height is the distance from the top to the bottom of the head surface when the bolster plate is removed from the slide at the bottom dead center.
What is open height?
Open height is the distance from the bottom of the slide to the top of the bolster when the adjustment of the slide is set to the limit at the bottom dead center.
Slide adjustment amount
During metal mold mounting, the connecting rod and slide adjustment screw (connecting screw) adjust the vertical positioning of the slide.
The mounted mold’s range of motion and height is set by the amount of the adjustment.
What is a Die Height Indicator?
The Die Height Indicator is used when these adjustments are made.
The maximum and minimum settings at the time of molding are decided through this device.
1.Scope
This standard indicates the die height value (made by Wako Seiki Co., Ltd.) to be used for the press.
2.Model and variety
The model of the die height value is as shown, and the variety depends on the combination of the components below.

(7)Unload preset symbol
First digit is always free, two characters of the second digit are free One character of digits 3 and 4 is free and when all digits are free at the same time, the micro switch turns off.

We designate the preset value, set it in-house and deliver.
In this instance, since the preset does not take the highest and lowest structural digits, we designate values excluding these digits. The highest upper preset value is consistent with the value indicated in the chart, and the lowest value comes from subtracting one from the value indicated in the chart.
(Example）Die height400㎜/Slide adjustment, if 100mm
（400-300）displays, and device turns on at a highest limit preset symbol of 400.0, and the lowest of 299.0
